  • We’ve known Paul and the Krazy Horse crew for years and were even at the launch party of their new store and café in 2012. There’s a huge choice of bikes for sale and they’ll gladly take on commission builds too. The workshop is an envy inducing place, fully kitted-out to the highest spec and even includes a rolling road. Upstairs there’s a shop selling parts and components as well as clothing, riding gear and merchandise. There’s also a café to make Krazy Horse the perfect place to stop after a ride to Finchingfield – just down the road. In fact there are loads of awesome routes in the area.

Every month there’s a party – full on band, hot food and bike show…. but you’ll need to turn up early if you want a prime spot, the place gets rammed with awesome customs bikes, hot rods and trucks. Gasoline culture nirvana!

There’s also a London branch (click here)

“Krazy Horse was started by Paul Beamish as a hobby when he couldn’t get the bike parts he needed locally. He established a motorcycle shop located in Bury St Edmunds that has continued to expand since opening in 1996.

The first shop was at Looms Lane. Initially supplying parts, it wasn’t long before Krazy Horse gained a reputation for building high quality custom motorcycles and began winning awards at shows throughout the UK and Europe.

We moved to a large purpose-built unit on Lamdin Road in 2012 that we called Empire House. With a spacious showroom, a café, a workshop, and clothing and parts departments our aim has been to offer all our customers a memorable and stimulating experience.

In February 2015, the expansion continued with the addition of a new showroom named Deco House, also situated on Lamdin Road – a short stroll away from Empire House. The new showroom has an adjoining car workshop and has been designed to showcase Indian and Victory Motorcycles together with Morgan Cars in a spacious, relaxed atmosphere.

Speaking about the new showroom, Krazy Horse MD, Paul Beamish, said:

“Empire House has become a successful and popular destination for serious petrol heads. The opening of Deco House is a natural development from this and we are delighted to be able to expand the services we offer.”

Krazy Horse is a regular ride out location for me, and I get to as many of the monthly late night events as I can. On event nights, the place is rammed with really varied bikes, hot rods and classic cars. The bands are always fun and add a great party atmosphere to proceedings. The queue for the burger grill is usually massive, but recently they’ve introduced other food stalls too so you can grab a bite to eat more easily. Get there early though! On non-event days it’s much more accessible and easier to bimble around the showrooms and well stocked shop. The cafe is great, producing really tasty scran at reasonable prices. Well worth regular visits!

This place has an amazing showroom of their customs, cool shop and nice cafe with good food and coffee to fuel you for the ride back.
Always met good people there for a natter and there is plenty of bike parking out front.
The best part is it’s a nice ride out to get there . Great destination spot.
